What is Fart Together Early Access on Steam?

Early Access means you buy an unfinished Steam app and receive updates while the developer finishes content. For Fart Together, Steam schedules that phase to begin 29 Oct 2026 with global unlock at 17:00 UTC on that date. GamesMrkt describes the first Early Access slice as a playable physics-based online co-op obstacle course for 2–4 players.

This page states what the Early Access FAQ confirms, what is out (Team Race), and what we cannot verify yet, especially exact prices and dated feature lists.

What does the developer say about EA length and plans?

GamesMrkt expects Early Access to last approximately 2–3 months and uses EA to “refine teamwork, physics, controls and difficulty with our players.” They plan to add more courses, obstacles, game modes, characters, and customization options before a fuller release.

Feedback channels named on Steam include Steam discussions, a Discord community, and player surveys. We do not have a public feature checklist with dates, only the FAQ wording above.

For calendar tables and demo timing, see release date. For hardware, see system requirements.

What is still unknown before you buy?

Steam has not published a purchase price for Early Access. The store page also shows a Free To Play genre tag alongside paid-app metadata, so pricing is unannounced. Follow the live store and our price page for how we describe the listing without dollar amounts.

Other unknowns:

  • Exact EA day-one patch notes and server regions
  • Full mode list beyond co-op obstacle runs
  • Team Race rules when it eventually ships (how many players covers the eight-player versus EA gap)
  • Steam Deck badge (Valve shows no Deck rating as of 24 Oct 2026; see steam deck)

Should you buy Early Access or wait?

There is no universal answer; use the free Demo and the checklist below. We do not earn from your purchase; this section is neutral.

Reasons waiting may fit:

  • You need Team Race or eight-player competitive play on day one. They are not in the Early Access build.
  • You require confirmed solo or split-screen play; Steam feature tags do not promise either.
  • You want a listed price before spending. Steam has not published one yet.
  • You prefer a finished mode roster; the FAQ promises more courses and modes still to come.

Reasons Early Access may fit:

  • You already enjoy the free Demo (89% of 472 reviews positive as of 24 Oct 2026 on the demo page) and want the main app’s ongoing updates.
  • You accept 2–3 months of active development and will send feedback via Steam or Discord.
  • You value the developer pledge that Early Access buyers get the full release at no extra charge and that EA will cost less than the later full-release price, still without numeric prices on the store today.

What happens after Early Access?

GamesMrkt has not posted a separate 1.0 calendar date on Steam, only the EA start and the roughly 2–3 month expectation. When the full release ships, the FAQ says Early Access owners receive it without an additional charge.

Post-launch, this site will add patch-note coverage and revisit controls once bindings are verified from gameplay, not from rumor key charts.
